"Oh my Glob" what a great day
Only fans of Adventure Time will understand this. If you're not a fan of the show, you're not living up to your full potential.
Everyone should shop at Costco just to see this, it's Lumpin' amazing.
We also went to the restaurant Sweet Tomatoes today, while we were eating 4 people came over and sat at the table next to us. When they walked by they were laughing hysterically but we didn't think much of it of course, until 5 MINUTES later when they still hadn't stopped laughing. If you have ever heard someone laugh for 5 minutes straight about a joke that you didn't hear you know how odd it feels, because you want to laugh along with them but once you start laughing you think to yourself "what am I laughing about?" So there we were, laughing and exchanging questioning glances in a restaurant named after a fruit. That's the makings of a great day.

Sadest Story
My friend Holly showed me this story she wrote for a writing class. It is SO sad. I almost cried. Please comment and tell me what you think of it.
Jenny Rash has beautiful blue eyes, and soft honey colored hair. She is four foot seven inches tall. she has an adorable face and personality. She is rasied by her single mother, Amanda Rash. She has had a very hard life. Her mother tries her hardest to support them, but it sometimes is not enough. Her father ran off when she was five years old. She hardly remembers him and she despises him for leaving. Jenny can not understand why her own father would leave her and her mother. Even though she is only eight, she can remember that day her father left. Every single detail, every word he said to he before he left.
When she was two, it was the best time of her life. She loved her daddy dearly. They would have the best picnics, the best walks, the best hikes, the best daddy daughter dates, and they had the most amazing bed time stories. She loved his laugh so much, that when he told her a funny joke, all she could wait for was his laugh. It was music to her ears.
Over the next year, Jenny's father changed. He changed so much that she never heard him laugh again. She cried herself to sleep when he would hit her before bed, or when she didn't obey him. She loved him so much still that she clung to the hope that he would remember all the fun they had together. She longed for him to hold her gently in his arms and sing her to sleep. But most of all, Jenny wanted to hear her father say, "I love you Jenny."
The day of Jenny's 5'th birthday was the worst day of her life. When she woke up, she ran to see her parents and tell them that she loved them and tell them that it was her birthday. She raced to her parents room and burst in with a huge grin. She could hardly contain her excitement. When she looked around the room, she saw a sight that she would never forget. She saw her father hitting her mother. She was horrified. As soon as she screamed, her fathers movements ceased. With tears streaming down her face, she ran to help her mom. To help the one parent who truly loved her. The man she once loved and called father, walked away. That was when she knew that he was out of her life forever. She knew that he would never come back, never tell her that he loved her and she would never hear the melodious sound of his laughter ever again.

Kayla
Kayla,
I'd love to come to the church on Saturday but I think that we are going to have to finish patching our roof ( there is a hole in the side parapet).
I'm not sure if we are going to get to a game this year but no worries because it's usually last minute. I would guess that we would go to at least one game.
I think that the move to get a new coach was a MUCH needed change. Stoops was a good rebuilding coach but I don't think that he was really head coach caliber.
Hope to see you soon.

Have you seen the wildcats football schedule for this season? We play 3 projected top 8 teams in the first month of the season (Oklahoma St, Stanford and Oregon. I sure hope they do alright but it does not look good for a winning season.
Kayla, what do you think the wildcats record will be at the end of the first month of the season?

Wow, I do not like getting up at 2:00 in the morning. My dad and I had to wake up then so that we could be on time to make it to New Mexico by 10:00. (We went to New Mexico to help my grandpa move back to Tucson). On the drive through Cloudcroft it rained and hailed, at one point there was so much hail on the ground that it looked like it had just snowed. It was also 47degrees on the top of the mountain.
I tried to put some pictures up but it won't let me. You'r just going to have to suffer through without pictures.

Super 8
Yesterday my mom and I went to the movies and saw Super 8. It had a pretty good story for being a action movie. My mom even liked it and she does not like being scared (she screamed out loud 3 times).
It was by far the best movie I have seen which has an alien in it. Probably because the only other movie I have seen with aliens in it was the Wizard of Oz (the munchkins were aliens).
Seriously though, there were a few things they could have done better.
1. The whole alien thing, not a big fan.
2. The air force was not painted in a very good light. I'm a patriotic guy.
3. Add a bear attack, it would improve all movies, except for Yogi Bear, Bambi and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.
I loved the first 20 minutes of the movie, the way they switched from the super 8 camera (8 millimeter film) the children were using to the normal high-def camera was classic. The train crash was also awesome.
Westopher's rating out of 5 stars.
3.5 - 4 stars.
The only reason It got less than 4.5 stars was that the movie was trying to fit so much in it got a little disjointed at the end.

Howdy
Do not fear,
Wes is Here.
I don't have much to say right now, but when I do, you'll hear from me.
